He beat Nixon in the 1960 election, and was the youngest person to ever take office. He built a very young cabinet, which included his brother, Robert Kennedy. During his presidency there were events like the Bay of Pigs, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Space Race, the Berlin Wall, the Civil Rights Movement, and the Vietnam War. He was assassinated in Dallas Texas by Lee Harvey Oswald, who was shot and killed two days later by Jack Ruby.
